Madness to elephant or to men ?

never seen anything like this before!!!!

ELEPHANT MAD MASTA DINESH VORAafter seeing this video I have a small suggestion .....
We should create a law ,that a vet doctor
( the one who could shoot the tranquilizer)
should present on all occasions where
more than one elephant is present .
.... let's save some people

A Witty Tale : A Hundred Faces

http://img827.imageshack.us/img827/9202/ahundredfaces.gif

King, riding through the countryside, met a peasant and ever concerned about the welfare of his subjects asked him how much he earned.

"Four coins each day, your majesty," repliedthe man

"And how do you spend the four coins?"

"One on myself, one I give in gratitude, one I give back and one I give on interest."

The king, puzzled, asked him to explain.

"A part of the money I spend on myself," said the man, "a part on my wife in gratitude for all she does for the house, a part on my aged parents to pay them back for all that they did for me and a part on my children who I expect will pay me back with interest by looking after me and my wife in our old age."

"You have provided me a fine riddle," said the king. "Please keep the answer a secret for some time, at least till you've seen my face a hundred times."

"I will," said the peasant

That very evening the king put the riddle to his courtiers. He told them what the peasant had said in reply to his question about how he spent his money and asked them to explain what the peasant had meant. The courtiers did not know but one of them said he would have the answer in twenty-four hours.

He searched out the peasant whom the king had spoken to and asked him the answer to the riddle.

The man, at first, refused to tell but was eventually persuaded to do so with a gift of a bag of coins. When the courtier returned to the palace and told the king the answer to the riddle the monarch guessed that thepeasant had broken his promise of silence.

He sent for the man and asked him why he had betrayed his trust.

"Didn't I tell you not to reveal the answer till you had seen my face a hundred times?" demanded the king

"And I did see your face a hundred times before I told him the answer, your majesty," replied the peasant. "He gave me a bag of hundred coins and each of them had your face on it."

The king was delighted with his wit and rewarded him handsomely

Too much work can Pack on the pounds

http://img197.imageshack.us/img197/2153/champagnepoolrow1985458.jpg

Overtime May Add More to Your Waistline than Your Wallet

Do you have a schedule that requires you to work more than forty hours per week, leaving you exhausted at the end of every workday? If so, go weigh yourself. If the number on the scale is higher than you believe it should be, you can probably blame your busy schedule for contributing to your excess weight.

Work can add weight—that’s the conclusion of a new Finnish study involving 9,000 Helsinki city employees, ages 40 to 60. University of Helsinki researchers found that weight gain was especially likely for individuals who must balance demanding jobs with the hectic requirements of family. In the study, a fourth of the women, along with 19 percent of the men, reported that they had gained weight the previous year. Strongly associated with weight gain was work fatigue.

The study identified two basic risk factors that seem to lead to weight gain: (1) consistently working beyond the standard 40 hours per week, and (2) consistently experiencing feelings of work fatigue.

The first factor, particularly high among women, involved those participants who expressed dissatisfaction with how they were able to combine paid work with family life. The second factor involved participants who agreed with three or more of these statements:
  • My work is definitely too stressful.
  • I feel like I'm totally exhausted.
  • I feel totally worn out after a day at work.
  • I feel tired in the morning when I have to get up and go to work.
  • I worry about my work even when I'm off duty.
  • I have to work too hard.
Researchers concluded that both risk factors involve work fatigue or burnout—conditions that may tempt workers to soothe midday stress by turning to vending machine treats, scarfing down fast food, and skipping exercise because they lack both time and energy. So what can you do if extra hours on the job may be causing you to pack on the pounds? Only you can be the judge of what you can do to improve the situation, but here are some tips that may help:
  • Take a break from your television for a week—or even one day a week. You may be surprised to find yourself enjoying the quiet, picking up a book you've always meant to read, or talking to your kids. At the very least, you may find yourself going to bed earlier when you feel tired, instead of spacing out in front of the boob tube.

  • Look for areas of your life to simplify or consolidate. For example, can you set aside a day to run all (or even most) of your errands, saving time and gas? Can you teach your kids to plan ahead so that you’re not heading to the mall every other day?

  • Evaluate your work schedule and tasks. See which items require some overtime, and then try to plan one or two days to consciously work overtime to accomplish those tasks. You may still be working long hours, but you’ll have some control over your schedule, rather than being at someone else’s whims. You may even improve your efficiency.

  • Take a good hard look at your job. Is it a good fit for you? While we all have areas of dissatisfaction in our work, it’s generally not normal to be continually exhausted at the end of the day. When we’re well suited to our work, we should enjoy it much of the time. Assuming that you don’t have an untenable amount of work (and if you do, that may require a conversation with the boss), maybe it’s time to start looking for a new job.

Dear Sir Sri Vaithinathan HariharanI would like to remind the Sir on the songs "Illai Enbar Yaarada" by MMD and "Mayilerum Vadivelane" by KBS.For the latter the Sir has provided with me tha link and I am hearing but fail to download. As such if I want to hear the song I have to connect the net. I mean no offence. Please Sir, upload the songs. Also "Nallathor Veenai Seydhen" by CSJ, "Varuvai Varuvai Varuvai Kanna", "Eththanai Kodi Inbam Vaiththai", both by Smt.S.Janaki. With the help os the Sir I was able to read many commentaries on Ribhu Gita and I was totally stunned that the Mahakavi has given the essence of Ribhu Gita in his song "Nirpaduve Nadappathuve Parrapathuve" . My prayer is that every one must listen to this song of Mahakavi at least once in a day. With warm regardsravi

Giving Tree - by Shel Silverstein

          http://img696.imageshack.us/img696/1681/wethree1.jpg

A long time ago, there was a huge apple tree. A little boy loved to come and play around it everyday. He climbed to the tree top, ate the apples, took a nap under the shadow. He loved the tree and the tree loved to play with him. Time went by.

The little boy had grown up and he no longer played around the tree everyday. One day, the boy came back to the tree and he looked sad. "Come and play with me," the tree asked the boy. "I am no longer a kid, I don't play around trees anymore." The boy replied, "I want toys. I need money to buy them." "Sorry, but I don't have money. But you can pick all my apples and sell them. So, you will have money." The boy was so excited. He grabbed all the apples on the tree and left happily. The boy never came back after he picked the apples. The tree was sad.

One day, the boy returned and the tree was so excited. "Come and play with me" the tree said. "I don't have time to play. I have to work for family. We need a house for shelter. Can you help me?" "Sorry, but I don't have a house. But you can chop off my branches to build your house." So the boy cut all the branches of the tree and left happily. The tree was glad to see him happy but the boy never came back since then. The tree was again lonely and sad.

One hot summer day, the boy returned and the tree was delighted. "Come and play with me!" the tree said. The boy said, "I am sad and getting old. I want to go sailing to relax myself. Can you give me a boat?" "Use my truck to build your boat. You can sail far away and be happy." So the boy cut the tree truck to make a boat. He went sailing and never showed up for a long time.

Finally, the boy returned after he left for so many years. "Sorry, my boy. But I don't have anything for you anymore. No more apples for you." the tree said. "I don't have teeth to bite" the boy replied. "No more truck for you to climb on" "I am too old for that now" the boy said. "I really can't give you anything. The only thing left is my dying roots." the tree said with tears. "I don't need much now, just a place to rest. I am tired after all these years." the boy replied. "Good! Old tree roots is the best place to lean on and rest. Come, come sit down with me and rest."

The boy sat down and the tree was glad and smiled with tears.

This is a story of everyone. The tree is our parent. When we were young, we loved to play with Mom and Dad. When we grown up, we left them, only came to them when we need something or when we are in trouble. No matter what, parents will always be there and give everything they could to make you happy. You may think the boy is cruel to the tree but that's how all of us are treating our parents

Dear Sir Sri Vaithinathan Hariharan The Sir is carrying out wonderful service by uploading so many that are to definitely strengthen the seekers of the Truth. Serving others has many levels depending upon the capability of the server. At the physical level one can provide help like giving food and money to the needy, visiting sick in hospitals and meeting their requirements. At the mental level one can serve others through our useful writings and books which can influence many with whom we have no physical contact. One can comfort others by our words and talks which is verbal service. Listening to the problems of others is also a service because who talks in distress is comforted by a patient hearing. One can serve others even by praying for the well being of those who are afflicted. To teach healthy ideas to others is also a service which can be given to any one at any time. All forms of service are good and should be undertaken as per the ability and inclination of the server. But the BEST service is that when the server raises the level of mind set of the receiver. Then the question “what should be the mind set”. It should be “Accept there is nothing that can be talked of as the non-Self or non-Supreme, neither mind nor world. In the absence of mind there is no thinking, in the absence of the body there is no aging”. When we think of the Supreme Being as inactive, neither creating, nor preserving, nor destroying, I call him Brahman, or Purusha, the impersonal God. When we think of Him as active, creating, preserving, destroying, I call Him Shakti or Maya or Prakriti, the impersonal God. But the distinction between them does not mean a difference. The personal and the impersonal are the same Being, in the same way as milk and its whiteness, or the diamond and its lustre, or the serpent and its undulations. It is impossible to conceive of the one without the other. The Divine Mother or Maya and Brahman are one

Dear Sir Sri Vaithinathan Hariharan Sri Harishankar has asked for a song that describes the ALANKARAM of Goddess Meenakshi. If I am right I think there is a song by Sri Madurai Somasundaram "kalaivannaththirumohini Uruvana Mohana Kannanin Thangai Angayarkanni Amma" in which the singer portrays the Alankaram of Ambal in a most emotional manner. With warm regards ravi

wonderful ways by you, you would be astonished. If
you knew how many people feel so much for you, you

You are far more wonderful than you think you are.
Rest with that. Rest easy with that. Breathe again. You

Imitinef Mercilet - Free Blood Cancer Medicine Advice Message

Outline Message advises recipients that "Imitinef Mercilet", a medicine that cures blood cancer, is available free of charge from the Adyar Cancer Institute in Chennai, India. Brief Analysis The Adyar Cancer Institute is a real health facility. "Imitinef Mercilet" is apparently an alternative spelling of the cancer drug, Imatinib mesylate. It is true that Imatinib (or "Imitinef") is available free of charge for patients who have been admitted to the Adyar Cancer Institute hospital for cancer treatment. However, the Institute is not handing out the drug freely to all as suggested in the message. Moreover, the drug does not actually cure all blood cancers as claimed in the message.
