I had the privilege of moving with stalwarts like Sri. Poornam Viswanthan and carry the sweet memories even today. He was a perfect gentleman and soft spoken in real life also. He was very friendly to me and was in the same spirit even after we stopped "Apsaras:" He was very happy when we staged his "washigtonil thirumanam" at Music academy, and we made arrangements for the " Mapplillai azahippu" to come around the Music academy and the entire audience was in the compound during that time, leaving their seats inside the auditorium
Here are the links for the drama "Thani Kudithasnam". Thank Mr. Nandakumar for the same.

- Dear Sir Sri Vaithinathan Hariharan Thanikudithanam. In my younger days, myself, my parents and my brothers and the kids will take the bed at 9 p.m. There will be only one light which was enough and at 9.15 or 9.30 p.m.there will be dead silence and we as a whole family swatch on the transistor to listen to VANNACHUDAR of Vividh Bharathi, a 15 minutes programme. Then will follow the drama Thanikudithanam. We were only able to listen but the way the actors presented the play, it was more than visual. After the play time, that is after 9.30 p.m or 9.45 p.m we all sit and talk and enjoy ourselves making quotes from the play. The way Pooranm emphasizing on the doctor's advice that his wife should desist from talking is still in my memory. Even today, even though my parents are no more still I and my brothers when we meet at a family function talk about it and rejoice. What a healthy way the Vannachudar dramas gave joy to us in unison. I very really feel that the Sir might have had the same environ with his family members as I had and that is why his choices are always pleasing and exciting. This could only be understood and cannot be expressed or rated. With warm regards ravi

- Dear Sir Sri Vaithinathan Hariharan During my younger years, the AIR of Trichy used to hold Nadaka Vizha and Dramas of various authors and the actors and actreses of Trichy AIR playing the roles. Our entire family will sit through the 1 hour programme and we were enthralled by the action of Smt.Veerammal, Sri.T.V.Krishnamurthy, Sri.Tennur Krishnamurthy. Smt.Vasantha and many whose names I cannot remember unfortunately. The background music of these plays were magnificient. The drama Sadukka Budham was quite enchanting. Another one involving Umarkayam was stupendous. Then there was the drama which unsually had more song sequences in which the song "Muthiah Muthukumariah" of one particular drama is still in my ears. I do not know the name but he was affectionately called Radio Anna was the master brain for all these dramas. What lovely days.Folllowing Thanikudithanam thjere was the drama Mappillai Murukku at Vannachudar of Vivid Bharathi and for pure humour there were Crazy Thieves at Palavakkam, Modi Mastan filmed as Manal Kayaru and the one in which a Bootham by name Jeebu with S.V.Sekar making everyone to laugh to tears. With warm regards ravi
