The streets in the Old City of Padang

original-nature.blogspot.com > For those who visited the city of Padang, do not forget to come to the old town in the capital of West Sumatra. Located on the outskirts of Batang Arau river.

At least two interesting views here. First, the buildings of the Dutch colonial heritage, which is partly used as warehouses, offices and even hotels. Oh yes, in this region there are also temples and buildings Bersatu Teguh Association meetings.

This afternoon walk along the old town is very exciting. This cultural tourism can be started from a look around ships and boats that rely on the riverbank of the upper Batang Arau Siti Nurbaya Bridge, then continued by foot along Jalan Batang Arau where many old buildings with distinctive architecture.

After the road about 300 meters, so until the T-junction, then turn left, you will be stuck in the temple. On certain days, the street in front of the temple could have been jammed, if it coincides with the hour of worship.

If you are thirsty and hungry after walking, lots of restaurants in areas which deserve your cottage samperin. Mmm ....
